Now, let’s be honest. There aren’t just three YouTube channels. There are hundreds of thousands of them. This extreme dilution of the channel pool is why you see some channels who have done everything they can but still experience poor or unnoticeable results.
They sit frustrated and discouraged because they have done all that they know to do and still can’t grow their channel at the desired speed or to the desired size. So, the algorithm is designed to push proven videos and it is ultimately impossible for your video to be proven in the short term by only depending on the algorithm to promote it. In most instances, it takes driving traffic directly to your videos to prime the algorithm pump. And to do that, you need to employ a non-saturated method to your channel’s growth strategy.

Now, there are changes to the advertising and promotion game every year. These changes tend to have the same effects as other strategies. They tend to be unbelievably effective for the first channels to employ them and they become more and more saturated as the word gets out about the strategy’s effectiveness. Who wouldn’t jump on board? That’s the limit of every strategy. Once saturated, its effectiveness slows down over time. That’s the nature of all marketing tactics.
